Waste, recycling and compost pick-up are provided by Phantom Garbage Services Ltd.
Waste is picked up weekly, on Wednesdays and recycling is picked up bi-weekly. Compost is picked up weekly, on Wednesdays, May until October. A copy of the 2024 Waste pick-up schedule can be found here.
Compost is to be disposed of in the blue cart that is provided to you by the Village. Please ensure that only grass, leaves, weeds etc. and food scraps are put in the compost bin. No waste or recycling products will be accepted in the compost bin and could result in a ticket or refusal to pick up.
Recycling can be put out in clear or blue bags, a large cardboard box or a recycling bin (not provided by the Village). While there are no restrictions on how much recycling can be put out, please ensure all of the boxes are broken down. No glass, organics or biohazards are accepted, but all fibres and plastics are accepted.
