Hay Lakes Municipal Library

Located on the East side of the Recreation Center, the library has been providing services to Hay Lakes and areas residents for over 50 years,. What began in 1957 with 257 books has grown into a collection of over 73,000 items with many more available through inter-library loans.

The Hay Lakes Municipal Library provides our community with equitable access to library materials and services that stimulate and meet residents’ needs for information, education, culture, entertainment, and access to the World Wide Web.

As a small village library, there are many different ways that you can help us sustain and expand our programs and services. We would be glad to accept your support in any of the three following areas:
Time: There are many volunteer opportunities available, from joining the Library board or Friends of the Library society, to helping out with fundraisers or in the library itself. Talent: Do you have a hobby, skill, or interest that you would like to share with the rest of our patrons?  We would love to host a special event, workshop, or seminar so you can show your stuff!
Treasure
: Monetary funding is always needed and gratefully accepted.  As a registered charity, we are able to issue official tax receipts for donations over $10.00.
Please call Amanda at 878-BOOK for more information and contact numbers regarding volunteer and support opportunities.
