Council Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers in the Village Office. These meetings are open to the public, residents are free to come sit in on a meeting, or bring an issue before council.
Procedure For Addressing Council:
- All requests and/or presentations to Council are to be done in writing (by email, mail, hand-delivered or fax) by noon the week prior to a Council meeting. Once you have made your request to attend as a delegation, you will be advised of the date and time of your appointment at a Council meeting.
- Any documents you have that will aid Council in making informed decisions would be appreciated. These should be left at the municipal office the week prior to your meeting with Council so that copies can be made for the agenda packages.
- At the meeting you attend, Council members will listen to your presentation and ask any questions of you to help them clearly understand. A decision may or may not be made at that meeting. Depending on the request it may be added to the next agenda to give administration sufficient time to research, if necessary.
